Backup data with the wizard

The wizard which is described here, makes it easy to backup data even for unexperienced computer users. The wizard drives you trough the important steps which you need for make a secure backup of your data. This wizard you can start only from the Easy Mode of the backup application.

The first, you add files, folders and other elements like Outlook and Outlook Express data, or Internet Explorer favorites to the backup. Click the button Add, and choose which element you want to add to the backup.

Drag and Drop: You can select files in a Windows Explorer window and drag them to the white list in the wizard.

In the second step you choose the destination of the backup. You have the possibility to select a local drive, e.g. a locally connected harddisk, or you can select a destination in the network (LAN or WAN), and furthermore you can select to backup your data to any a FTP server over internet.

After you selected your favourite destination for your backup, you can choose some several options. You can choose, if you want to encrypt your backup data, and if you want to store your backup data compressed as a Zip-file.

In the next step, you must give the backup a name. When you click the >> Next button, the backup task will be saved to your harddisk.

In the last step you have the possibility to check the box "Start backup now" to run the backup immediately, and you can check the box "Create an icon to this backup job on the Windows Desktop", to start this backup job in future from a click to a Desktop-Icon which wizard will create for you.
